Israel Sci Tech Schools inaugurates 8 new innovation and entrepreneurship centers - Friends of Israel Sci-Tech Schools

These centers have recently launched at Ronson School in Ashkelon funded by the Ronson Foundation, Afridar School in Ashkelon, Melton School in Bat Yam funded by former Friends of Israel Sci Tech Schools board member Idee German Schoenheimer, HQ Afek School in Kiryat Bialik, schools in Migdal HaEmek funded by the Friends of Israel Sci Tech Schools board members Barry and Marlene Hyde Berelowitz, as well as schools in Afula and Givat Ram. They join 30 centers, libraries, science and MAKERS spaces, digital and robotics laboratories across Israel renovated by the Network in recent years.

The Network’s iSTEAM educational methodology combines multidisciplinary teaching with project-based learning while emphasizing entrepreneurship. This innovative approach to teaching is maximized by renovations of the physical space students and teachers engage in learning. Learning in this way develops in learners a broad perspective that allows students to develop a professional language of the 21st Century that connects the fields of science, engineering and design.
