Young StartUp Leadership, the Network’s strategic program for developing young leadership through scientific technological education in Israel, aims to fulfill the full potential of the outstanding pupils in junior-high and high-schools, by identifying students with the potential to excel in the fields of science, technology and math as early as possible. These pupils are assigned to start-up classes, providing equal opportunities, bridging socio-economic gaps and encouraging girls to choose and cope with scientific-technological fields of study, focusing on high-level physics/technology/engineering. The pupils are introduced to the high-tech industry, to the advanced trends in the forefront of science and technology, and to ways of thinking and implementation that promote creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship. They receive support and guidance by mentors in various fields.
