A curriculum and learning environment in cardiac medicine developed as a joint venture between the Israel Sci-Tech School’s R&D Center and the J&J/Biosens-Webster Company (Johnson & Johnson), an Israeli high-tech medical technology company.
The program invites students to explore and investigate the cutting edge field of cardiac electrophysiology, a field of biomedical engineering which combines anatomy , physiology, science , engineering, , and even ethical and social dilemmas. The program emphasizes teamwork and collaboration around investigative and engineering problems. Each team investigates different aspects, and they share their knowledge through peer learning. The curriculum is designed for 9th and 11th grades and is 30 hours long.
