ISTS Network Is Proud and Moved by Medal of Courage and Hope Recipients - Friends of Israel Sci-Tech Schools

Out of 77 honorees across the country, five recipients of the Medal of Courage and Hope are part of our own ISTS family — a moment of deep pride and heartfelt emotion.

The Medal of Courage and Hope is awarded to leaders and changemakers who embody social responsibility, compassion, and resilience in the face of adversity. Grounded in the values of Zionism, mutual responsibility, and deep civic commitment, it honors those who inspire action and healing.

This year’s ISTS-affiliated honorees are:

  • Raz Frohlich, CEO of ISTS Network (May he love long)
  • Yossi Hershkovitz (z”l), Principal of ISTS Pelech Boys Yeshiva, Jerusalem, who fell in combat in Gaza
  • Eyal Shuminov (z”l), Graduate of ISTS Psagot Karmiel, who fell in combat in Gaza
  • Ilay Elisha Lugasi (z”l), Graduate of ISTS Danciger, Kirya Shemona, who fell in combat in Gaza
  • Simcha Edry, a teacher at ISTS Danciger, Kirya Shemona (May she live long)

Each represents the very best of our vision: Education that is meaningful. A commitment that is a way of life.

We honor the memory of Yossi Hershkovitz, Eyal Shuminov, z”l and Ilay Legacy z”l, and hold their families in our hearts.

We congratulate our very own CEO, Raz Frohlich and wish him continued success as he leads our network forward — with strength, purpose, and hope for a better future.
