The national sports quiz was held as part of Israel’s Physical Education Week in collaboration with the School Sports Association, the Ministry of Education and Channel ONE. The quiz was held with the aim of exposing students to types of physical activity and raising awareness of the importance of engaging in sports. In the first stage of the competition, the school teams were required to answer 20 questions and in the second stage 20 additional questions.
Students of the Israel Sci Tech Yokneam Schools’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Division, led by the school’s sports teacher, competed against many schools around the country, demonstrated proficiency and knowledge in a variety of sports, qualified for the finals and won 1st place.
